These terms explain Estarwork’s standard project process. Your written proposal confirms the exact scope, price, timing and any project-specific changes before payment or work begins.
Last updated: 3 September 2026These terms apply when an Estarwork proposal refers to them. The proposal identifies the customer, contracting Estarwork operator, deliverables, price, schedule and any special conditions. The proposal takes priority if a project-specific term differs from this page.
A project is agreed when you accept the written proposal and Estarwork confirms the booking in writing. The start date is reserved once the first payment and the materials or access needed to begin have been received. A private payment link or invoice is sent only after the scope, timing and terms are agreed.
The proposal lists the included pages, languages, content, integrations, revision rounds and handover items. Prices are in Swiss francs and include applicable VAT. Provider subscriptions, licences, advertising spend, stock media and other third-party costs are included only when the proposal says so. No additional charge is made without your written approval.
For standard website projects, 50% is due after proposal acceptance and before work begins. The remaining 50% is due only after the customer and Estarwork approve the staging version against the agreed scope, and before public launch, transfer or final handover. A different schedule applies only when it is written in the proposal.
You provide accurate business information, content, feedback, approvals and account access within the agreed time. You confirm that supplied names, text, images, trademarks and other materials may lawfully be used. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal data through the enquiry form. Secure access is arranged separately.
Project timing depends on timely content, access and feedback from both sides. If customer input is delayed, the delivery date moves by the resulting delay and Estarwork may reschedule the next production slot. After 10 working days without required input, the project may be paused. A pause does not remove paid credit or create new charges by itself.
The proposal states the included revision rounds. A revision adjusts agreed work. A new page, feature, language, integration or direction is additional work. Estarwork explains the effect on price and timing, and begins it only after written approval.
If you cancel before the agreed project start, Estarwork refunds all project payments. Once work begins, the first 50% payment is non-refundable because it covers the reserved production period and the first project milestone. If you stop the project before more than 50% is completed, no further project fee is due and Estarwork completes or hands over the agreed first-half milestone. If more than 50% is completed, you pay only the additional completed percentage. For example, at 80% completion, a further 30% is due, bringing total payment to 80%. Estarwork then hands over the work completed and paid for. The unfinished percentage is not charged or delivered. Approved third-party costs that cannot be recovered remain payable. If Estarwork ends a project without customer breach, the unperformed portion is refunded and usable paid work is handed over.
Estarwork provides a staging version for review. You check content, links, forms, prices and business details before written approval. Estarwork corrects agreed-scope defects reported during review. Approval confirms that the staging version is ready for final payment and launch, while mandatory rights and responsibility for concealed defects remain unaffected.
After full payment, you receive the agreed custom website files, content and account access. Estarwork retains ownership of pre-existing methods, reusable tools and general know-how. Fonts, software, platforms, plugins and stock assets remain subject to their own licences. Estarwork uses project work in its portfolio only with your permission.
Monthly support begins only after a separate written scope is accepted. It is billed monthly. You may cancel before production for the next monthly period begins. Once work for a month has started, completed work and approved non-refundable costs are charged, while prepaid future periods are refunded.
Estarwork configures agreed third-party services with reasonable care but does not control their prices, policies, outages or future changes. The proposal or handover identifies ongoing subscriptions and account ownership. After handover, the customer is responsible for renewals and backups unless continuing support is agreed.
Each side treats non-public project information confidentially and uses it only for the project. Personal data is handled as described in the Estarwork privacy notice. Email and other agreed written channels may be used for approvals and project decisions.
Swiss law applies, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and mandatory places of jurisdiction. If a concern arises, both sides first try to resolve it promptly and in good faith. The version accepted with your proposal continues to govern that project. Later website updates do not change an existing agreement unless both sides agree in writing.
